 Our Story

Why we love what we do

Timothy and Diana Bedell Family

Hello and thank you for visiting PreCuts Quilt Shop & Craft's website. My name is Diana Bedell and I would like to share my story of discovering the wonderful world of quilting and how it led to the starting of this business.

I was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Central America, and emigrated to the United States of America after dating Tim Bedell in 2013. We got married in Springfield, Illinois, where we lived for a few years until a sudden tragedy took us to Ogden, Utah.

While in Ogden, we attended a state fair, where I was very much impressed with the beautiful and wonderful quilting done  by local housewives. The following week, I enrolled in a quilting class; however, it wasn't what I had expected, so I continued my search until I found two stores–Nuttall's and Wimmer's–that made me feel as if I were a part of their family.

Over the next four years, the ladies at these two quilt shops taught me so much about quilting! Now, I want to share this knowledge I have gained with all of you.

In January 2018, we moved to Eatonville, Washington–where the traffic is crazy! I spend most of my time making a home for my family and caring for our daughter. I took online classes and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Enough about me! My husband, Tim, works a regular job and has been part of Bac Union since 1998. Even after working a long day, Tim comes home to help me in my business by putting all the orders together and get them ready to be shipped out. He also looks after our daughter while I am ordering fabrics and he even gives his opinions on which fabrics I should buy.

Thank you for visiting our website.

Regards,

Diana Bedell
